1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the website of Waltham Cooperative Playgroup (walthamplaygroup.org), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Waltham Cooperative Playgroup provides a website to inform the public about our cooperative playgroup, membership details, and schedule. We reserve the right to update or modify the content at any time without prior notice.

3. Visits

Prospective families are welcome to visit our playgroup before enrolling:

  • First Visit Free: Your first visit is free of charge with no obligation to enroll.
  • Caregiver Required: A parent, guardian, or designated caregiver must remain with your child for the entire visit.
  • Subject to Availability: Visits are scheduled based on availability. We may limit visits on certain days due to capacity or special events.

4. Registration and Enrollment

If you decide to enroll after your free visit:

  • Registration: Enrollment is completed through Jovial, our third-party registration partner.
  • Tuition Payment: Once enrolled, tuition fees are due by the third week of your child's attendance. Payment schedules and amounts are provided during enrollment.
  • Cooperative Commitment: Waltham Cooperative Playgroup is parent-led. Enrolled families take turns assisting during sessions and may help with occasional tasks like snack duty or setup. Details are provided during enrollment.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this site any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or other material that would violate any law.

6. Intellectual Property

The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, and other matters related to the Site are protected under applicable copyrights and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights. The copying, redistribution, use, or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the Site is strictly prohibited.

7. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Waltham Cooperative Playgroup (e.g., Jovial, Google Maps). We has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.

8. Member Access

Certain areas of our website (the "Members" section) are restricted to enrolled members of Waltham Cooperative Playgroup.

  • Eligibility: Access credentials are provided only to families currently enrolled in our program.
  • Shared Credentials: Login credentials may be shared among enrolled member families but must not be shared with individuals who are not current members.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials provided to you.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to revoke access at any time, including when enrollment ends or if these terms are violated.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Waltham Cooperative Playgroup, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
