Alumni
WCP has brought local families together since 2003, and being part of the cooperative can last beyond a family’s final playgroup day. Alumni are former WCP families from any era, and current families are welcome to stay connected with the wider community too.
Still part of the community
Since 2003, families have taken turns opening the doors, leading activities, sharing responsibilities, making friends, and helping the cooperative grow. Families eventually move on from playgroup, but the relationships and connection to WCP do not necessarily end there.
WCP alumni are any former member families, whether they were here recently or many years ago.
Waltham Cooperative Playgroup was formerly known as Infancy to Independence.

The Alumni Announcements group is for current and former WCP families who want to stay connected with occasional community updates. It is separate from the daily current-member chat.
